What We Believe

      Salvation - Grace through Faith

Ephesians 2:8 reads: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
With grace comes the ability to believe in the heart.  When the anointing of grace comes upon you, it puts you in a place to receive faith and brings you into the righteousness of God.  At this point, the light is turned on; which is the light of salvation.  Faith comes and you remove the blinders.  When you believe, grace steps in and moves you to righteousness. When you confess, you turn on the light switch; which is salvation.

                                                                    Receiving Christ (HOW)
Romans 10: 9 & 10
Acts 16:31 reads: And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Just believe it (The devil uses doubt * a seed* of unbelief to steal the seed * The Word*).
Acts 2:38 reads:  then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost
After you receive Christ, you are to be physically baptized (water), totally submerged, or overwhelmed!!!!

  Baptism
1Peter 3:21 reads: the like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Baptism doesn’t have saving power alone.
Mark 16:16, 17 reads: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues…
In Romans, it speaks the truth that when you were baptized into Jesus Christ you were baptized into his death.  This means to make overwhelmed, to overcome in thought and feeling, or overwhelmed to the point of turned upside down.
Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Faith
Hebrews 11:1-3

Romans 10:8 reads; But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
 Word of Faith!!
Hebrews 11:1 reads: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Part One: Substance ------ the essential (of the utmost importance) part; useful.
Part Two: Evidence--------- an outward sign; something that furnishes proof.
Faith is an ability to believe something. You can’t skip over faith to get to heaven. It’s the real thing, the sign of evidence of things to come. If you can see the sign without seeing it with the eye, yet you can see it, you have faith.
